Pengaruh Baby Spa Terhadap Perkembangan Motorik Bayi Usia 3- 6 Bulan Di Desa Medan Krio Tahun 2023

Motoric development is a process of maturation or movement that directly involves the muscles to move and the innervation process so that a person is able to move his body. WHO states, that 5-10% of preschool-aged children experience minor brain dysfunction, including fine motor development disorders. In Indonesia, children experiencing general developmental delays are not known with certainty, but it is estimated that around 1-3% of children under the age of 5 experience general developmental delays. One way that can be used to meet the needs for motor development is to do a baby spa. The purpose of this study was to see that the treatment carried out could improve the motor development of babies aged 3-6 months in Medan Krio village in 2023.
This type of research design used a pre-experimental design with the One Group Pretest-Postest Design. The population in this study were infants aged 3-6 months in the village of Medan Krio with a sampling technique using Non-Probability Sampling which was selected by Perposive Sampling consisting of 30 respondents.
The results showed that the baby's development after the baby spa was higher than before the baby spa. After receiving baby spa treatment, there was an increase in babies in the caution category from 2 to 16 (53.3) babies, in the normal category from 13 to as many as 14 (46.7) babies and in the caution category there was an increase to the advanced category with a value of p= 015b (<0 , 05). So it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is an effect of baby spa on the development of motor skills for babies aged 3-6 months in Medan Krio village in 2023.
The conclusion in this study is that there is an effect of baby spa on the development of motor abilities for babies aged 3-6 months in Medan Krio village in 2023. It is recommended that health workers develop promotion and education about baby spa to the community, especially parents to improve baby's motor development.
