BSE (Breast Self-Examination) is a very important first step to find out early on the presence of breast cancer as well as the cheapest, easiest, fastest, and simplest method that can be done by Public. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the knowledge of young women and the implementation of self-examination (breast self-examination) in Dusun Iv, Medan Krio Village, Sunggal District, Deliserdang Regency in 2023. This type of research is an analytic survey, with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were young women in Hamlet IV, Medan Krio Village. The sample in this study used accidental sampling, namely the sample was carried out by taking cases or respondents who happened to be available or available somewhere according to the research context as many as 35 people. The results showed that the majority of young women had less knowledge, 17 people (48.6%). And the minority of young women who have good knowledge is 7 (20.0%). The majority of young women who carry out awareness are 16 people (54.3%) and a minority of young women who do not carry out awareness are 19 people (45.7%). There is a relationship between the knowledge of young women and the implementation of awareness with a p value of 0.000 <0.05 so that there is a relationship between the knowledge of young women and the implementation of awareness in Dusun IV, Medan Krio Village, Sunggal District, Deliserdang Regency in 2023. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between the knowledge of young women and the implementation of awareness in Hamlet IV, Medan Krio Village, Sunggal District, Deliserdang Regency in 2023. It is recommended for young women to always participate in every counseling given by health workers so that the knowledge of young women can increase so that their actions could also be better.
