Breastfeeding is an activity that can bring its own happiness to the mother, which is her nature. To support the success of breastfeeding, it is necessary to know the correct breastfeeding techniques. One of the failures of the breastfeeding technique is caused by the mother’s mistake in positioning and placing the baby while breastfeeding. Breastfeeding positions can be done in several positions. The ways to breastfeed can be done by sitting, standing or lying down. Breastfeeding with an incorrect technique can result in sore nipples. The purpose of this study was to determine the relathionship beetween mother’s knowledge about correct breastfeeding techniques and the occurrence of sore nipples at Citra Primary Clinic in 2023. This type of research is an analytical survey, with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were all mothers at Citra Pratama Clinic. The sample in this study used accidental sampling, namely the sample was carried out by taking cases or respondents who happened to be available or available somewhere according to the research context as many as 30 people. The results showed that the majority of mothers had knowledge with less category as many as 12 people (32.4%). And a minority of mothers have knowledge in the good category as many as 11 people (29.7%). The majority of mothers 19 people (51.4%) did not experience sore nipples and were a minority 18 mothers with nipple abrasions (48.6%). Be found mother’s knowledge about correct breastfeeding technique the occurrence of chafed nipples where the value of p 0.00 < 0.05 so there is a relationship Mother’s Knowledge About Correct Breastfeeding Technique With Blisters Nipples at Citra Pratama Clinic in 2023. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between mother’s knowledge About Correct Breastfeeding Techniques With The Occurrence Of Chafed Nipples In Citra Pratama Clinic in 2023. It is recommended for mothers to always participate in every counseling given by health workers so that mother’s knowledge can be increased so that the action can also be better.
